Brian Popp
Returning Adult Student Organization Senator
Brian is currently a junior at UW-L with a major in
Spanish and a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other
Languages (TESOL). He is originally from Athens, Wisconsin
and intends to graduate in May of 2011.
Brian chose to attend UW-L because of the location, atmosphere, reputation of the school, textbook rental, and low tuition. While at UW-L, Brian has been involved as a volunteer at an after school program at Emerson Elementary School, Associate Writer for the Racquet, Americorp VISTA volunteer, and Returning Adult Student Organization.
Some of Brian's goals for the year include finding alternatives to fee increases while mainting quality and working on issues involving the budget, Growth, Quality, and Access, and the printing fees.
Brian is a member of the Segregated University Fee Allocation Committee (SUFAC) and the Joint Legislative Regent Relations Committee.
