Mike Hemmer
College of Science and Health Senator
Mike is currently a senior at UW-L with a major in
Mathematics with an Actuarial Science Emphasis and a minor in
Economics. He is originally
from Saint Francis, Wisconsin and intends to graduate in May of
2010.
Mike chose to attend UW-L because of the prestigious reputation, the scenic beauty, and the layout of the campus. While at UW-L, Mike has been involved in intramurals, a statistics tutor, undergraduate research in biostatistics, and an RA in Angell during his junior year.
Some of Mike's goals for the year include voicing the concerns of fellow Science and Health students and making students aware that Student Senate is a place to voice these concerns.
Mike is a member of the Student Technology Fee Committee and the Joint Finance and Budget Committee.
