Austin Schoen
College of Science and Health Senator
Austin is a senior majoring in Exercise
& Sport Science-Physical Education Teacher Education,with a minor in School Health Education. He is from Brown Deer, Wisconsin, and is expected to
graduate in December of 2012.
Austin decided to attend UW-La Crosse because of the class size, great scenery, excellent sport-
related education, and enough proximity to home. Austin is also involved in Physical Education
Majors Club, and REC Sports.
Through Student Senate, Austin would like to work on the variety and quality of programs
available for students throughout the school year, as well as listen to the ideas and issues that
the students have to offer. Also, Austin will work to help advance the college experience of the
students he represents. This will be accomplished by networking with the students in the College
of Science and Health, as well as campus staff and fellow senators to further understand the
needs and wants of UW-L.
