Madeline Reed
Senator Madeline Reed is a senior studying Biology with a
minor in Microbiology. She has plans to attend
graduate school in Summer 2014 and enter into the medical
field. She comes
to UWL from Lodi Wisconsin, a small town 30-minutes north of
Madison.
Maddie chose to attend UWL
because of their stellar academic standards, beautiful
landscape, and home-like feel of the community.
She has been involved with Colleges Against Cancer
for several years and has assumed various leadership roles
within the organization. She is currently serving as a
Team Recruitment Chair. She is also
active in Pre-PA club, Golden Key, and a Political
Organization on campus. Previously, Madeline has
been a member within Habitat For Humanity, Radiation Therapy
Club and Eta Phi Alpha Honors Society.
Madeline has several goals and
ideas for the upcoming year. Broadly,
Madeline will strive to represent her constituency in
a fair and balanced way by increasing her availability on
campus and attending SAH activities regularly. She would
like to focus on being a resource for her constituency,
increasing student voter participation, and solving
inefficiencies on campus. Madeline will be
working on AIOC, Student Services and Buildings, and the
Library Committee.
