College of Liberal Studies Senator
Amy Keel, a Senator from the College of Liberal Studies, is
a junior at UW-La Crosse. She grew up in Mequon, Wisconsin,
a suburb just north of Milwaukee. She is studying for a
double major, including Political Science and Public
Administration, while also fulfilling a Criminal Justice
minor. Being an aspiring law student, Amy plans to graduate
from UW-L in the spring of 2015, and begin law school the
Amy chose UW-L because of its reasonable size, tremendous educational opportunities, and family-oriented atmosphere. In addition to Student Senate, she is a member of Eta Phi Alpha Honor Society and the Pre-Law Association. Additionally, Amy loves being competitive, which is why she has participated in a variety of intramural sports.
Amy is a member of Student Senate because she desires to inspire positive change on campus, while fighting for an assortment of student desires. Amy cares immensely about the success of the university, and for that reason she wants to have a say in the most important decisions. Amy is particularly passionate about equality and inclusion on behalf of all her fellow students. Her goal is to be the voice for those whose voice is rarely heard.
