Laura is currently a 5th year
senior, majoring in Secondary English Education, and Music.
She plans to graduate in December 2011.

Laura chose to attend UW-L because she wanted to go to a university where the students, faculty, and staff all care about each other and want to see everyone succeed. Laura also states, “Our university is an amazing place to discover your passions in life and where you want to take them after graduation. UW-L also has the most beautiful campus in the UW System (although I’ll admit I’m slightly partial).” Laura is also a Vanguard, a Student Alumni Ambassador, a member of Student WEA, and a past New Student Orientation speaker.
Laura’s goals for Senate this year are to serve on SUFAC again and work to continue to allocate funds wisely. She hopes she can use the knowledge she gained from being on SUFAC last year to achieve this goal. Laura also thinks it will be increasingly important to ensure there are strong lines of communication between students and administration throughout the construction process of new buildings and facilities on campus.
