Jason Krug

Jason Krug is excited to be the Vice-President of Student Association this academic year. He is from Vesper, WI, and is majoring in political science and public administration.
    As Student Association Vice-President, Jason leads the Student Senate meeting serving as the chair of your student legislature. He also is responsible for making recommendations for student committee membership, and maintaining relations with administration, the campus community, and various levels of government.
    Jason's goals are to lead an equitable Student Senate where every voice has the chance to be heard in the Senate Chamber, stay in touch with his constituency by attending student organizational meetings, making his email, and office hours known where ever he possibly can, and to make sure the that student of UW La Crosse have a strong voice representing them to the administration and various levels of government.
    Jason started out as a Residence Hall Association Council Representative his freshmen year, representing the east side of campus, he continued on to represent the students of the residence halls as a RHAC Senator during his sophomore year. He partook in committees such as Joint Planning and Budgeting, Student Services and Buildings, Dining RFP, and a number more. Over the summer he represented all University of Wisconsin students to a committee set up by the UW System President Rilley, concerning system budget cuts and budgetary flexibility.
