University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Student Senate
The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Student Senate is the Legislative Governing body for the UW-L Student Association. The Student Senate consists of representatives from all three colleges at the University as well as membership from multiple different organizations around campus as well as particular demographic groups (i.e. Off-Campus and Residence Hall Association Council Senators). This body meets on a weekly basis and each Senator serves on at least one student and one faculty/joint committee. The Student Senate holds their elections each April and is presided over by the Student Association Vice-President.
Please take the time to speak to each of your respective Senators and tell them how you feel about any particular issue. Meetings are open and are typically on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM in Port O' Call (Cartwright Center).
