What do I do when I'm sick?

 

During scheduled clinic hours, call the Student Health Center to schedule an appointment or ask to speak with a nurse. They will advise you regarding treatment options.

Appointments are required for all non-urgent medical services.  To make an appointment, call 785-8558.

Same-day appointments are available on a first-come basis. Walk-in is available if same-day appointments are full, however waiting times may vary.

Examples of urgent medical problems include:

Red BallAcute Illness:

Sore throat present longer than 24 hours

Eye or ear pain

Breathing difficulty

Fever over 101 F

Vomiting, diarrhea

Back pain

Bladder or urinary discomfort

Red Ball Injuries:

Laceration

Possible fractures

Burns

Dislocations

Puncture wounds

Red Ball Women's health care concerns:

Emergency contraception
Contraceptive concerns
