Calendar - Timeline

Fiscal Year 2010 - 2011

Meetings are held on Mondays from 5:30pm in Cartwright Center Rm 326 - Senate Chamber

• Sept. 13 - Introduction and review of SUFAC for the committee members. Selection of chair, vice chair, and secretary of SUFAC
• Sept. 20 - Orientation session provided to subcommittees by SUFAC membership. Fall Semester’s One-Shot letters due to eligible units
• Sept. 27-Oct. 4 - SUFAC review and analyze year-end cash balances.
• Oct. 04 - Units’ Equipment & Supplies/one-shot requests to respective sub-committees.
• Oct. 18 - Budget instruction and blank narrative template due to sub-committee - Prioritized listing of sub-committees’ one-shot requests to Apportionment Committee.
• Oct. 25 - One-shot hearings for Athletics, Organizations, Student Services and Buildings, and Cultural Affairs.
• Nov. 1 - One-shot deliberation. Preliminary 2011-12 budget instruction prepared by Budget Planning office due to SUFAC - SUFAC to brainstorm budget instruction and guidelines.
• Nov. 1-8 - Sub–committees to finalize their 2011 – 12 respective budget requests.
• Nov. 15 & 22 - Discussion of non-allocable budgets
• Nov. 29-Dec. 6 - Budget review of subcommittee budget requests
• Dec. 15 - Budget to Student Senate and to Financial Services
