UW-L students have access to WISCareers, an online guidance system developed by the UW System to help students conduct assessment of their interests, abilities, values, etc. With your assessment in mind, WISCareers will identify potential occupations to explore. It can also help to indentify majors that are related to those occupations.
WISCareers can be a valuable resource, but it's not designed to "choose" a major or career for undeclared majors. It is very important for students to understand that their use of WISCareers should be followed up with an appointment with one of the AAC's academic advisors or peer advisors. An appointment with an advisor will help to interpret WISCareers findings and put the information into context.
