    Tutoring

    Murphy Learning Center (MLC)

    Tutoring, Writing Center, Public Speaking.   All UW-La-Crosse students can receive free tutoring services in a variety of courses, as well as utilize the Writing Center and the Center for Public Speaking at the MLC.   In addition to on-site tutoring they can also direct you to tutoring offered by other campus departments.

     

    Student Support Services (SSS)

    SSS provides personal, academic and career support services to low income and first generation college students, as well as students with disabilities.

     

    Office of Multicultural Student Services (OMSS)

    The OMSS peer tutoring program provides free course specific tutoring to multicultural UW-L undergraduate students upon request

    Disability Resource Services (DRS)

    DRS collaborates with students with disabilities to identify, reduce, or eliminate barriers to obtaining education within the most integrated settings possible.

    Violence Prevention

    Student Life: Violence Prevention  is here to assist you with advocacy, information, and support, so that you can make informed choices about the options available to you in situations such as, sexual assault, stalking, violence or abuse in a relationship.. Services are free, confidential, and available to all UW-L students, faculty, and/or staff members.

    Safe Ride Program

    The Safe Ride bus offers a safe ride between downtown and campus on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. There are stops on and off campus, around town and downtown, which are marked with a maroon and silver Safe Ride bus sign.

     

    Blue Light Emergency Phones

    Map of blue light emergency phones on campus.  In case of an emergency simply press the button on the blue light phone and it will connect you with University Police.

    Student Health Center

    Located on the UW-L campus (across from Whitney Center) and is open to UW-L students and supported by your student fees, making the services available to you a no or low cost.

     

    Counseling

    Caring, compassionate, and confidential.  On campus counseling services available to UW-L students free of charge.

    Empowers students and staff by providing them with the knowledge and tools necessary to lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
