Congratulations to TESOL student
Katee Jo Neumann
2008 YWCA Outstanding Woman of
Tomorrow
"...Katee Jo's frequent travels
to Jamaica to teach summer
school, work for a non-profit
organization, and volunteer in
service projects to improve the
infrastructure of school
buildings, combined with the
relationships she has made on
this Caribbean island have
planted in her the seed of a
lifelong commitment to
international service work and
the education of today's youth
on their ability to help
humankind. Katee Jo intends to
use her degree in Elementary
Education to accomplish her
dream of teaching
internationally, learning about
other cultures, and return home
to coordinate service learning
opportunities for youth here in
the United States..."
