Summer 2011 Conversation Partners

Are you going to be in La Crosse this summer?

Are you looking for a fun way to gain TESOL experience?

Are you interested in meeting international students?

Become a conversation partner with the ESL Institute!

The ESL Institute is looking for native English-speaking volunteers to meet with international students this summer.  The program is relaxed and informal, and it is a fun way to gain TESOL experience.

Conversation groups are held May 23 through July 14. We meet Monday through Thursday each week. There are two 45-minute sessions from 2:45 – 3:30pm & 3:30 – 4:15pm.  Scheduling is flexible, but we'd prefer that you volunteer for two or more 45-minute sessions per week.

If you have any questions about this rewarding experience, please email Jacob Krueger, the coordinator of the Summer Conversation Partners Program, at
