Declaring a Theatre Arts Major

To declare a Theatre Arts major, go to the College of Liberal Studies office at 235 Morris Hall and submit a major declaration form. It's as easy as that!

Students enrolling as Theatre Arts majors must complete the Theatre Arts core requirements and one area of emphasis. Areas of emphasis include:

  • Performance
  • Design/Technical (Lighting, Sound, Scenic, Costume)
  • General Studies
  • Theatre/Stage Management
  • Arts Administration
  • Music Theatre (audition required)

Arabian Nights Production Photo(Students enrolling in the Music Theatre Emphasis must also enroll in the Music Department/Music Theatre minor.)

To declare a Minor in Theatre Arts, follow the same process. Minors must also declare an area of emphasis.
