St. Joseph Rehab Center
The Rehab Center is looking for GROUPS who would like to sing Christmas songs, help addressing Christmas cards, or play Christmas bingo with the residents! Many dates and times are available, including weekends!

The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army is in urgent need of drivers and unloaders to assist The Salvation Army food pantry in picking up donations from businesses and restaurants. We have already scheduled runs to these places, and also on call situations. There are opportunities in the mornings and afternoons, with occasional nights and weekends. These people must be over 18 years old, must be able to lift boxes over 20 pounds, and must complete a Volunteer Application and a Salvation Army Driver Application.
If anyone is interested in helping us this way, they can contact Laurie Duncan at 782-6126, through email at Laurie_Duncan@usc.salvationarmy.org, or come to our office at 223 N. 8th Street. The applicants should specify that they are inquiring about the volunteer driver position.
Children's Museum of La Crosse
Lend a hand at the Children’s Museum to extend the learning and fun for thousands of families! Volunteers are an important part of the Children’s Museum team. Museum volunteers must be enthusiastic, reliable and fond of children. No experience required; training provided. There are volunteer opportunities available to suit every schedule.
New Year’s Celebration
December 30 - 10:00 - 1:00 pm
Help our young guests enjoy New Year’s Eve Children’s Museum style. Including making party hats and noise makers, a bubble wrap stomp, temp. tattoos and face painting...followed by a count down to noon. 10-15 volunteers are requested.

Hixon Forest Nature Center
Volunteers are needed to staff the Butterfly Garden during open hours. If you are interested in butterflies, like to be outside and love to learn, please consider volunteering once or twice a month or whatever works into your schedule. All training is provided.
