Leadership

Welcome to the Leadership Programs site at UW-La Crosse. The mission of the Leadership Programs at UW-La Crosse is to provide educational and developmental programs to all recognized student organizations. Various activities and events are sponsored to promote leadership development.

Fall and Spring All Student Organizations Meeting

Held at the beginning of Fall and Spring semesters.

Attendance by a representative of each student organization is strongly encouraged and required by Student Association as a condition for applying for grant money.

The meetings provide information for student organizations on funding, upcoming events, changes in services and much more.

Each meeting also features a keynote speaker on a variety of subjects of interest to student leaders such as involvement, future benefits of leadership, motivation, and others.

Eagle Roundtables

Co-sponsored program of University Centers, The Office of the Chancellor, and Student Association implemented to recognize student leaders.

These invitation only events occur two times per year (once/semester).

Student leaders are given the opportunity to dialogue with Chancellor Gow on a variety of issues of concern to students.

Some issues that have been addressed this past year are: academic integrity, future plans for UW-L, parking and residence halls, and UWL's Growth and Access proposal.

Leadership Consultations
