Greg Reichert began duties as UW-L’s assistant chancellor for University Advancement July 1, 2010.

Reichert leads UW-L's University Advancement Division, which includes the UW-L Alumni Association and University Communications and partnering with the UW-L Foundation.

He also:

  • serves on Chancellor's cabinet as a member of the management team
  • manages development, alumni relations and legislative relations programs
  • oversees the development of comprehensive fundraising, public relations and media plans
  • builds and maintains UW-L's image with internal and external audiences

Florence Aliesch has over 25 years of experience in the design and print industry. She coordinates the production of university printed materials and manages the university's visual identity.

Some of the pieces designed through the Publications Office are:

  • brochures, posters and promotional pieces for UW-L departments
  • UW-L's Undergraduate Catalog
  • recruitment publications for the Admissions Office and the International Education Office
  • Alumni Association invitations, programs and promotional pieces

Sanja Dojcinovic

Sanja Dojcinovic has more than 12 years of experience in marketing, design and print. Most recently, she was the marketing and outreach director for the People's Food Co-op in La Crosse.

Dojcinovic oversees and coordinates all off-campus printing purchases for the campus while ensuring compliance with state printing regulations. She also:

  • generates printing orders and bids from state and local printers
  • meets with internal clients to discuss projects
  • designs, edits and writes for a variety of publications, including the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) promotional materials, the Alumnus magazine, CBA's Building Bridges newsletter and many others.

Kjerstin "KJ" Lang joined the University Communications team Feb. 15. You may recognize KJ as the former higher education reporter for the La Crosse Tribune. Lang comes to UW-L after five years reporting for daily newspapers. She also served as assistant director of a foreign language school in Oaxaca, Mexico. Lang earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Lang will write for campus publications and online venues. If you know of any human interest or other news stories happening within the UW-L community, contact Lang.

Sue Lee, a 1982 and 1987 UW-L graduate, has over 30 years of experience in the communications field.

Lee is the editor of the Campus Connection, the UW-L online newsletter for faculty, staff, students and retirees. Additionally, she:

  • writes, edits, designs and posts "Campus News," "Upcoming Events" and "In the Spotlight" on UW-L's Home page
  • writes articles and shoots photos for various university publications
  • maintains the University Communications Web site
  • lays out and publishes the e-Alumnus

Brad Quarberg, a 1985 UW-L graduate, has worked in higher education institutional relations since 1985. Along with many campus committees, he is actively involved in various community and non-profit organizations, along with serving in leadership positions in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education's district five (CASE V), a professional organization for higher education professionals in the Midwest.

As associate director of University Communications at UW-L, Quarberg:

  • researches, writes, designs and edits articles for UW System and UW-L
  • is editor of the university's Alumnus and Building Bridges magazines
  • oversees publication of the UW-L Student & Staff Directory
  • coordinates interviews and sets up news conferences, talk shows and other on- and off-campus interviews
  • develops story ideas for university promotional pieces and handles requests for information
  • coordinates news releases about students to hometown newspapers
  • fields media inquiries and oversees the university’s news bureau
  • administers the university's official social networking fan page

A UW system graduate, Maren Walz comes to UW-L with a background in education, market research, instructional design, technical writing and Web design.

As Web coordinator, Walz's focus is on making a visit to www.uwlax.edu the very best it can be. To do this, she is:

  • developing and facilitating future plans for UW-L’s website
  • collaborating with the campus community to develop strategic goals
  • creating a consistent end-user experience by developing university style guidelines
  • coordinating official university presence in Web social networking technologies
  • improving current information content architecture and organization
  • integrating new technologies into the Web environment
  • developing publishing policies for faculty, staff, and students
