Lisa Severson joined the University Communications team in September 2009. Severson has worked for the University of Wisconsin system since 2004. Prior to coming to UW-L in 2008, Severson worked at UW-Rock County.
She is a graduate of UW-Green Bay with a degree in communications. Most recently she was the co-editor of the 2009-11 UW-La Crosse undergraduate catalog.
As a volunteer Severson has worked with Habitat for Humanity, the American Cancer Society and the CROP walk. She considers coaching her daughter’s Odyssey of the Mind team that placed eighth in the world one of her proudest accomplishments.
