We accept applications on an ongoing basis. We prefer students just entering ninth grade (eighth grade students are strongly encouraged to apply in March or April) but will consider all applications. We
are not allowed to admit students who have already started their senior year in high school or those who are older than 19.

Be sure to read and follow all instructions! and send all attachments required!
UB application - student part. Student complete and mail to Upward Bound along with autobiographical
statement.
UB application - Transcript Request Letter
Student and parent sign and give or mail to school counselor (permission to
release school records to UB).
UB application - parent/guardian part Parent
complete, sign and mail to Upward Bound along with requested income
information.
UB application - school recommendation. School
guidance officer or counselor complete and mail to Upward Bound along
with applicant's quarter grades, transcripts and WKCE 8th grade test scores.
