Second semester college visits  -

  • Gustavus Adolphus College - This trip was originally scheduled for October but was postponed. The new dates are March 7 and 8. This overnight trip is for selected students only. You will leave UW-L on Friday, March 7 and return on Saturday, March 8. While at Gustavus, you'll stay with a student host and attend classes with your host before leaving campus.
  • UW-Whitewater - Friday, April 4 is the date of one of Whitewater's Friday on Campus programs which includes info about admissions, financial aid and student services, a tour of campus, lunch on campus and info about specific majors and programs.
  • UW-La Crosse - Monday, April 21 is this year's annual visit to UW-L. This is a personalized visit just for those who sign up and includes the opportunity to shadow a real college student in your area of major interest. You'll go to class with your host, lunch, study and whatever else the host's schedule dictates. After your "day in the life" experience, we'll all meet to talk with a UW-L admission counselor.
  • Viterbo University - (tentative) Monday, April 21 will also be an opportunity to visit La Crosse's Viterbo University. The visit will be just for you, including visits to classes, info about admissions and finances, a tour of facilities, lunch on campus and info about your area of major interest.
  • UW-Platteville - Friday, April 25 is one of UW-Platteville's Pioneer Preview Open House events. The schedule includes faculty presentations, info about admissions and finances, lunch on campus, a tour of facilities and door prizes.

For Sophomores

The Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam is given to 10th graders. You can get sample/practice tests here.


For Juniors

PSAT Test Dates and info - TAKE THIS TEST at your high school. Your scores will be used to determine eligibility for scholarships and other good things!

ACT Test info - Plan to attend UB's ACT Prep sessions early second semester, then take the test in spring. If you complete UB's Prep Sessions we will give you a registration fee waiver!
