Checklist

  • Step 1: Decide on one or more topics that interest you.
  • Step 2: Identify faculty who have similar interests and meet with them to discuss the possibility of engaging in a research project under their guidance.
  • Step 3: Outline your project in detail with the help of your faculty mentor.
  • Step 4: Write a grant proposal to receive funding for your work.
  • Step 5: Present your work locally, regionally, nationally or publish your work.
