an assisted living home in La Crosse, WI. You name an activity and we have
done it at Alterra.

Torchlight
Parade: You may hear us "roar" as we walk the streets of La Crosse in
the annual Torchlight Parade!
¤
Torchlight continued: We had that much fun!
¤
Sib Shop: Helping children
that have a disabled brother or sister have fun and meet new people.
¤ Lion Dick
Foss's: A tour of his new location!
¤ Eye Transporters: During the month of October we
are on call to transport corneas to Tomah, WI for surgery.
¤ Float
Preparation: Our Lion's are huge and we paint them with pride!
¤Community Clean Up: We help keep our campus clean!
¤ Bell Ringing for Salvation Army: We sing and ring bells with the best
of them!
¤ Polar Bear Plunge: Members of our club have participated in Polar
Plunge!
¤ School Supply Drives: We have collected school supplies for children in
other countries.
¤ Relay 4 Life: We join as a team to raise money for the American Cancer
Society.
¤ Induction
meetings: We are constantly adding new members to our club! WE honor
their decision to become a Lion with an official ceremony.
¤ Winter Rec Fest: Helping kids in the
snow!

White Cane
Days: Promote Blind Awareness within community, we act "knights of the blind."

Rotary Lights: We help decorate downtown with lights for the annual Rotary
light event! Check out our tree downtown!
¤ Candy for
Camp: Fundraiser for Lions Camp
¤ Campus
Fundraisers: We raise money for various local charities, Lion's activities,
and Lion's dues.

Eyeglass
Drive: We collaborate with Golden Key and Pre-Optometry to collect
eyeglasses from local community members and here on campus.

Help with clean up weekend and as counselors

We are always trying to recruit new members!
¤ Special Olympics Bowling Tournaments: La Crosse, WI.
¤ Blood Drives: We help with local and on-campus Blood Drives.
¤ Dinner
socials: Tacos, burgers, spaghetti - you name
it, we have a party for it!
¤ Themed Meeting: We like to have fun and get down to business at the
same time, every meeting is different and exciting. We have prizes and of
course food!
¤Local Meetings, District Conventions, Officer Training, and other local and state Lion's
club activities: We meet with local clubs through a variety of activities.
