POSITION DESCRIPTION  

Description/Primary Responsibilities: This is a position for an “on call” pool of part-time or fulltime instructors to teach in either Recreation Management or Therapeutic Recreation.  Examples of class areas include:  Recreation Management - finance, marketing, pools and facilities, leadership, or outdoor activities, and Therapeutic Recreation - cognitive or physical disabilities, youth, geriatrics, or corrections.  These courses are taught either during an academic semester, a 3 week January, or 4 week summer session.  This pool is renewed every two years.

 

Qualifications (minimum and desirable):

Masters Degree (or higher) in appropriate field preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience, current knowledge and skills in the desired content area and possible related certifications

 


 
APPOINTMENT  

Starting Date:  Determined by course staffing needs each semester.

 

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
