POSITION DESCRIPTION  

Description/Primary Responsibilities:  The Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (www.uwlax.edu/chemistry) invites applications for a full-time, academic-year appointment to begin August 25, 2008 and end May 24, 2009.  Teaching duties will include introductory chemistry lectures and laboratories and possibly, additional courses in the area of expertise of the candidate (biochemistry and analytical chemistry areas preferred).   

 

Required Qualifications:  The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. degree in chemistry or closely related field by August 2008, evidence of effective teaching, excellent oral and written communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with academic colleagues.

 


 
APPOINTMENT  

% of appointment – full time, academic year

 

Starting Date:  August 25, 2008

 

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
