| POSITION DESCRIPTION |
The Department of Educational Studies invites applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor of Elementary Education. We seek applications from individuals who hold a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in education or related field by time of appointment (advanced ABD considered if degree will be completed by time of employment), have a strong background in pre-K-12 education, and have an active research program that could provide experience for our undergraduate teacher certification students and ME-PD graduate students. Candidates who have at least three years of teaching experience in pre K-8 public schools and experience working in professional development schools are preferred. The successful candidate must express her/his dedication to high quality undergraduate and graduate education and be committed to globally responsive teaching and diverse perspectives. Opportunities include teaching elementary curriculum courses and field experiences. Responsibilities include teaching 11-12 credit hours per semester, research and service.

Information about UW-La Crosse: The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, founded in 1909, is one of 13 four-year campuses in the University of Wisconsin System. It offers approximately 80 majors, minors and special programs for undergraduates in business, education, the sciences, the arts, health science, recreation, physical education, and liberal studies.
