| POSITION DESCRIPTION |
Description/Primary Responsibilities: The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, a member of the highly competitive nine-member NCAA Division III Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Association (WIAC), invites applications for an Assistant Football Coach. The position will carry a 20% coaching appointment in the Athletics Department and an 80% teaching appointment in one of the academic departments in the College of Science and Health (CSAH) for a 100% academic year appointment. In Athletics, the Assistant Football Coach receives a 20% position and will assist the Head Coach in long range planning, scheduling, fundraising, and by coaching a position. The Assistant Coach will work with the Head Coach, Director of Athletics, Athletics Committee, L Club, and the University administration in conducting the program. The assistant coach will also have responsibilities for assisting in recruiting qualified student-athletes to the institution. The coach will have a working understanding of and comply with departmental, institutional, conference, and NCAA Division III philosophy, rules, regulations and bylaws. The position will also have an 80% appointment in CSAH where the possible teaching assignments include teaching a cooperative learning course concerning health, wellness, and disease in the Health Professions Department or teaching introductory mathematics and/or overseeing the Mathematics Learning (tutoring) Center in the Mathematics Department. Required Qualifications: Earned masters degree related to the area of teaching assignment, minimum of three years of coaching football (some experience at the college level is preferred), and evidence of successful teaching. The successful candidate will also perform program, departmental, and university service.

| APPOINTMENT |
% of appointment: The position will carry a 20% coaching appointment in the Athletics Department and an 80% teaching appointment in one of the academic departments in the College of Science and Health (CSAH) for a 100% academic year appointment.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
