		Assistant Professor Department of Physics College of Science & Health

POSITION DESCRIPTION		Description/Primary Responsibilities: Experimental physicists from all fields are encouraged to apply; expertise in condensed matter physics, atomic/molecular/optical physics, or nuclear/particle physics preferred. Applicants are expected to handle large introductory physics courses and laboratories as well as upper division courses, and to establish a research program that involves UW-L undergraduates. Qualifications (minimum and desirable): Ph.D.

APPOINTMENT		% of appointment -- 100% academic year. Starting Date -- August 25, 2008 Salary -- commensurate with experience and education. The position also includes excellent fringe benefits and insurance programs
