Best UW-L story:
I first visited UW-L when I was in 6th grade with my middle brother. I was carsick the entire two hour drive, but my mother and brother told me to stop whining. When we arrived on campus at the campus Police Station, it was in the middle of the afternoon and hundreds of students were walking to and from class. I stepped out of the ’95 Lumina and proceeded to vomit all over a tree in front of the Police Station. My brother was so embarrassed he refused to talk to me. I made my mark on this campus, and that was the only tour I ever took. I knew this was the place for me.
In your opinion what is the best thing about the UW-L?
Our Faculty and Academic Staff are the most helpful professionals I have ever met. They have spent countless hours giving me advice and helping me with all my struggles and successes. I don’t think there is another campus that has as many caring individuals working towards making our students successful.
What will you miss the most about the UW-L after you’ve graduated?
To steal a quote from the late Marina Keegan, I will miss the feeling that can only be described as “the opposite of loneliness.” Every day I am in La Crosse, I get an overwhelming sentiment of community. I have met my best friends and biggest mentors in La Crosse and for that I am forever grateful. Nothing will ever compare to what UW-L has given me.
Weirdest thing about you?
My three nipples.
Name something you do when you're alone that you wouldn't do in front of others?
I am too obnoxious to be embarrassed.
Name one thing you miss about being a kid?
I miss recess, naptime, snacktime, and the ability to always be surrounded by my family.
What is your favorite song at this moment?

Do you have any hidden talents or skills?
I played in a Polka band in high school.
