Best UW-L story: Before I was a student at UW-L I was taking my first campus tour. While walking around the campus the song “I’m a Barbie Girl” began to play out of one of the residence hall windows. This was a unique and memorable moment that I will never forget.
Advice to freshmen:
Be yourself and get involved. This may sound cliché and unoriginal but
it is the best advice I was ever given. Getting involved on campus will
allow you to discover what you really like to do while meeting new
What will you miss the most about the UW-L after you’ve graduated?
I will definitely miss the atmosphere that the UW-L campus has. Everyone is always smiling and ready to do something fun. The campus provides you with a feeling of belonging and makes you feel like you are part of a family. You are not just a number on this campus.
Weirdest thing about you?
My family has a pet bird that will live until I’m 55 years old
If you could be one household item, what would you be and why?
I would be the remote control because it decides what’s on the TV

I miss having recess in my daily schedule
