Why I came to UWL: I applied to seven different colleges and once getting the yays or nays back I narrowed it down to UW-LaCrosse and another University. I toured both places several times with my parents and still could not decide which college to choose. Being the organized and list-loving person I am I made a pros and cons list about the two colleges; after many weeks of flipping back and forth my parents agreed to visit both campuses one more time in order to help in the final decision. While on campus at LaCrosse students smiled, made eye contact, and generally made me feel right at home. The surroundings were absolutely gorgeous and it finally clicked that I could see myself living there. In the end, my heart outweighed my list.

One thing to do before graduation: On a day that isn't too cold, but there is still snow get a few friends together and walk downtown to get coffee and walk along the river. It is the most peaceful, stress-relieving , and fun thing to do on a Sunday afternoon.

If you could name Eagle Hall it would be: Justin residence hall because it would be super cool to have an amazing new building on our campus have my name on it (not that I have the kind of money to donate to it).
