Featured Speaker

William Cerbin, a Carnegie Scholar, serves as Assistant to the Provost/Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at UW-La Crosse. He also coordinates assessment and teaches psychology at UW-L.
Bill has presented at numerous UW-System campuses as well as national conferences on teaching and learning. His talk will focus on UW-L's efforts to develop a comprehensive and systematic approach to teaching writing.

This panel discussion will spotlight approaches and concerns at UW-System schools. Presenters include

  • George Savage, Chair of Languages and Literatures at Whitewater
  • Brad Hughes, Director of Writing Across the Curriculum at Madison
  • Dennis Ciesielski, English professor at Platteville
