Representatives from each UW-System university are cordially invited to attend this seminar, either as individuals or as part of a campus team.

To organize the seminar, we are seeking one person from each university to be the campus writing liaison. Please let us know if you would be interested in playing this role--or would like to know who is serving as your liaison.

Campus liaisons are in charge of

  1. helping to assemble a team of faculty and administrators interested in writing issues on each campus, and
  2. completing an information form about writing-intensive activities at each univeristy [Download form (Word) (PDF)]

Campus teams may consist of as many colleagues as you would like, although we’re hoping for 2-8 from each campus. Some possibilities include

  • faculty from different disciplines, particularly those dedicated to improving student writing,
  • writing program administrators, including faculty who work with tutors and/or writing fellows
  • administrators interested in enhancing writing-intensive programs such as writing-across-the curriculum, writing emphasis, writing-in-the-disciplines
  • faculty or administrators involved with faculty development and/or the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Each participant will need to register and cover the $25 registration fee.
