jump start – Incoming Freshmen Only!

Take advantage of our Jump Start Program, a specially designed, unique learning experience for first-year students beginning their college career at UW-La Crosse. You will be part of a small, highly-motivated group of incoming students, and will have an opportunity to become familiar with the academic rigor and social scene of UW-L under ideal conditions of maximum opportunity and support and minimum confusion.
Jump Start consists of two courses, totaling four credits. One course, Communicating Effectively (CST 110) is a required course for ALL majors and the second course, First Year Student Seminar (UWL 100) is a general education elective used by all majors.
Registration: March 1-May 31, 2012*
*Registrations will be accepted until maximum enrollment is
