Earth Day Craft & Repurpose Event

Happy Earth Day! Begin your own fresh herb garden at home! We will provide the supplies for you to enjoy what is natural and self-sustainable for the summertime. Event booths at the Union Lawn from 12-3 pm and Whitney from 12-2 pm.

 

COVID Protocol

  • All participants will receive a pre-packed kit with supplies for the planting of three herbs (including seeds, soil, pots, and instructions) and information on sustainability opportunities.
    • Kits will be “Grab N’ Go” style meaning that participants will pick up the kits on the day of the event and complete the event on their own time.
    • Kits will be prepped by the CAB and IMC! teams at least 2 days in advance. The CAB and IMC! teams will sanitize and wear masks while packaging the kits.
  • On the day of the event, participants will arrive at either the fire pit area outside of the Student Union or at the table outside of Whitney Dining Center to pick up their Earth Day Craft kits from the CAB, IMC!, and SFS teams.
    • The CAB, IMC!, and SFS teams will wear masks and sanitize while passing out the kits.
    • Participants must wear masks.
    • Participants will stand in line and physically distance while waiting their turn to pick up their kit.
    • The CAB, IMC!, and SFS teams will ask that everyone sanitize before being handed a kit by the CAB, IMC!, and SFS teams.
