The Secret in the Wings

Mary Zimmerman’s The Secret in the Wings adapts a group of lesser-known fairy tales to create a theatrical work that sets their dark mystery against her signature wit and humor. The play opens as a married couple leave their young daughter, Audrey, with the babysitter for the evening as they head out to a party.  The couple sees a genial, avuncular babysitter, but Audrey sees a hideous ogre with a spiny tail who has obvious plans to devour her.

February 26 & March 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.

ONLINE ticket sales begin Saturday, October 1 at www.uwlax.edu/theatre-arts.  Tickets are available for purchase in person at the box office in the Center for the Arts or by calling 608.785.6696 beginning Monday, February 20 at 1:00 p.m.  Box office hours are Monday through Friday 1:00-3:00 p.m. and one hour prior to each performance.

Ticket Prices: $20 adults; $18 seniors/non UWL students; $8 UWL students.
