Healthcare and Science employer feedback

What is your first impression?
  • She looks okay, however, she should try to cover up her tattoo on her foot and should wear a longer skirt for an interview. Looks a little uncomfortable
  • Competent. Interested in making a special effort.
  • Very professional. Good fit and color. Approachable.
Is this appropriate for a career fair?
  • Yes (x2).
  • She needs to cover up that tattoo.  It is ok for a career fair, but not the best.
Is this appropriate for an interview?
  • Ok.
  • Yes.
  • Perfect.
  What is your first impression?
  • Overall, he looks professional. However, his pants look bunched up and may not fit quite right. His pants seem to be “skinny pants” and that might make him seem young and trendy. I might suggest he considers losing the facial hair to seem even more professional and clean cut.
  • Competent, interested in what is happening around him, positive.
  • Very nicely dressed. Good color. Professional.

Is this appropriate for a career fair?
  • Yes (x3).
Is this appropriate for an interview?
  • Yes (x2)
  • Yes, but I would recommend a more “standard” shirt color depending on what type of company he is interviewing with (possibly blue, maroon, or white). The purple is more “out there” for shirt colors.
What is your first impression?
  • Professional and classy.
  • Competent, interested in making effort to be prepared for an interview.
  • Professional.  A little baggy look with pants, but good for colder weather.

  • Yes (x3).
Is this appropriate for an interview?
  • Yes (x3).
  What is your first impression?
  • His dress seems more casual (like something he would wear to work but not to an interview). I don’t like the dark shirt under the light jacket and his shoes are all wrong. Now, if he wore this to a career fair at UWL that would be fine. However, it would not be what I would want him to wear for an interview. He needs a full suit and a tie. And different shoes!
  • Competent, willing to make an effort, positive.
  • Casual, summer clothes.
Is this appropriate for a career fair?

  • Maybe in the summertime.
Is this appropriate for an interview?

What is your first impression?
  • Please don't wear that to a career fair or an interview.  You look like you're going out to the mall with your friends.

  • Attempt to dress up, but doesn't work for me.

  What is your first impression?
  • Why is he wearing the zipper jacket over his dress shirt and tie???
  • Competent, maybe not aware of the surroundings/work environment, interested in making a positive impression.
  • Casual. Dressed up with tie and slacks.
Is this appropriate for a career fair?
  • No.  I would rather see him in dress pants and tie without that sort of sweatshirt/jacket over the top.
  • Yes.
Is this appropriate for an interview?
  • No.
  • Maybe depending upon the position.
  • Remove the jacket, go with just shirt/tie and its fine.  Jacket is too casual.
