Lori Reichel, Ph.D., our program director, is passionate about school health education. Her 21+ years of K-12 school health education and program coordination has equipped her with the knowledge and understanding of the unique challenges facing health educators in the school setting. She is nationally recognized in the field and has been named School Health Educator of the Year multiple times by key health education professional associations, including the Society of Health and Physical Education (formerly the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance), the New York State Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, and the Eastern Division Association, American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. 

Lori is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences and is the co-author of Tools for Teaching Comprehensive Human Sexuality Education:  Lessons, Activities, and Teaching Strategies Utilizing the National Sexuality Education Standards published by Jossey- Bass and solo author of Prepping Parents for Puberty Talks: A Compilation of Over 500 Questions Children Ask with Child-Friendly Answers.
