WTEA 2017 Spring Conference: Moving STEM Forward

Target audience: K-12 Technology & Engineering Education (TEE) instructors, WTCS instructors
This course is being offered in conjunction with the Wisconsin Technology Education Association’s 48th annual conference held March 1–3, 2017.
The Thursday general session will feature keynote speaker Peter Uvass, President of Fox Valley Tool & Die. The Friday afternoon general session speaker will be Dr. Morna Foy, President of the Wisconsin Technical College System.
The conference theme is “Moving STEM Forward” speakers, exhibitors, and sectional presenters have been asked to focus on strategies that the attendees can use to enhance STEM education activities in their local schools while helping their students develop workplace skills and prepare for careers in an ever-changing technological society.
Course participants should plan attend the pre-conference workshops, conference general sessions, sectional presentations and visit the exhibition hall. After attending the conference, all participants submit summary paper to the instructor.

Conference registration is separate from credit course registration.

Conference fee is separate and in addition to credit tuition fee. One GRAD credit is available to participants. The student must attend the conference to receive credit.
