This program will follow a barbeque theme. Participants will learn about different baking options, decorating, outdoor backing and items that can be made for summer gatherings.

Day 1: July 19, 2017

8:30–9:00 a.m.  Camper drop-off
9–9:30 a.m.  Get to know your fellow campers
9:30–10:00 a.m.  Introduction to baking and associated terminology
10–11 a.m.  Quick and health snacks:
Energy Bites
11 a.m. – Noon Tour: Baking at Whitney Center
Noon–1 p.m.  Lunch
1–3 p.m.  Fruit Bavarian
3–4 p.m.  Making Jam Tarts
4–4:30 p.m.  Using extra pie dough
4:30 p.m.  Dismissal

Day 2: July 20, 2018

8:30–9:00 a.m.  Camper drop-off
9–10 a.m.  Homemade cinnamon rolls
10–11 a.m.  Cake making 101
Noon–1 p.m.  Lunch
1–4:30 p.m.  Designing and decorating cakes
Hands-on with UWL bakers
4:30 p.m.  Dismissal
