Eligibility and requirements

“Am I qualified to take a UWL concurrent enrollment course?”

Students who wish to take a concurrent enrollment course must meet UWL admission requirements:

  • Junior or senior at time of course
  • High school seniors must rank in the upper 25% of their class; OR achieve a composite score of 26 or greater on the ACT exam
  • High school juniors must rank in the upper 10% of their class.
  • Successful completion of appropriate preparatory high school course work for college courses
  • Completion of required application documents by required deadlines including appropriate placement test scores

"What do I need to do?"

  • Ask your guidance counselor if there are UWL concurrent enrollment opportunities at your school and if you are eligible to participate.
  • If yes, talk to your family about your interest in concurrent enrollment. Ask your guidance counselor to help you complete the application materials required to enroll in this program.
  • If no, please contact Annette Valeo, avaleo@uwlax.edu to find out about other potential opportunities.
  • Submit all required documents and scores to UWL by the deadlines provided by your counselor.
  • Completion of required application documents by required deadlines including appropriate test scores.

It is the student's responsibility to verify that a specific concurrent enrollment course will transfer to the university or college to which the student applies. The transfer wizard can help you.
