UW-La Crosse will:

Conduct a needs assessment:

Districts, buildings and classrooms require unique solutions. We will meet with you to assess your needs for social justice training and help you identify your priorities at the district, building and/or classroom level.

Develop a customized program:

Your school community shapes the focus of the social justice curriculum. We will help you to build a program based on the fundamental principles of social justice, what social justice looks like in schools, and tailor the curriculum to fit your students and staff.

Implement the program:

UWL’s expert trainers in social justice will exclusively deliver instruction, provide resources and guide participants’ Praxis projects. Districts also have the option of engaging UWL’s trainers to facilitate the program by mentoring staff you identify to deliver instruction. Either way, participants will benefit from expert curriculum that is relevant and useable as they create more socially just learning environments for their students.
