According to the Women in the Workplace 2018—a study conducted by McKinsey in partnership with LeanIn.Org—" is clear that women still experience an uneven playing field. They get less day-to-day support and less access to senior leaders. They are more likely to deal with harassment and everyday discrimination." These problems are compounded for those facing intersectional discrimination and make it difficult for all women to gain leadership positions, advance professionally and advocate for change.
