Supplies for Art Adventures Camp

Supplies will be mailed to all students who register by June 7, 2021. Students who register June 8 or later will be able to pick their supplies up at the following times/location: 

7:45 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday

Supply Lists & Recommendations

Spectacular Sidewalk Chalk Challenge expanding section

Supply list

  • The following supplies will be provided:
    • Multi-colored sidewalk chalk
  • Look for these supplies in your home:
    • A rag or scrap of fabric to use for blending the chalk. If you don’t have a rag or fabric scrap you can use your fingers/hands to blend if needed.

Recommendations for setting up the home workplace

  • Find a quiet spot to participate in camp; you will need an electronic device connected to the internet.
  • Gather your kit and home supplies for use.
  • Open the camp final confirmation email that provides the Zoom link (this email will be sent the week before camp).
  • For the ‘work time’ time slot, find a good sidewalk spot to draw on. If you don’t have a sidewalk, a driveway space or paved space will work well.
  • Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting chalk on.
  • Join the Zoom meeting between 8:45 and 9 a.m.
Terrifically Tailored T-Shirt Art expanding section

Supply list

  • The following supplies will be provided:
    • Fabric pastel set
    • Recycled pieces of Heavy Cardstock material to make stencil shapes
  • Look for these supplies in your home:
    • Find an old t-shirt you can use for this session. If you don’t have an old t-shirt you may use another parent/guardian approved piece of clothing.
    • If you have an old toothbrush it would be ideal for blending colors on the fabric. If you don’t have an old toothbrush, you will be able to blend using your finger.
    • A parent/guardian approved scissors for cutting stencils. You may also tear your stencils.

Supply list

  • The following supplies will be provided:
    • Modge Podge
    • Brush to apply Modge Podge
    • Collage/decoupage paper squares
    • Brown paper to use as a messy mat
  • Look for these supplies in your home:
    • An empty soup can or glass jar/vase (washed with the paper taken off) from your recycle bin. If you don’t have any empty containers you can wash from your recycle bin you could also use an empty shoe box or small picture frame. Anything that your parents/guardians would be ok with you applying collage materials to the surface.
