Youth scholarships—generously provided by Xcel Energy—are available for students attending summer youth programs through UW-La Crosse (UWL) Extended Learning. UWL Extended Learning summer youth programs provide young students with hands-on learning activities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), art and culinary skills. Scholarships cover up to 85% of youth program registration fees. Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and financial need will determine scholarship amount. UWL Extended Learning summer youth scholarships are available each year starting February 1, 2019 and are awarded by June 10, 2019; funds will be applied to summer 2019 youth programs.
