Scholarships

Youth scholarships—generously provided by Xcel Energy—are available for students attending summer youth programs at UW-La Crosse (UWL) through Extended Learning. These programs provide young students with hands-on learning experiences in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), art and culinary skills. Extended Learning offers two types of scholarships:

Scholarships cover up to 85% of youth program registration fees and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. UWL Extended Learning summer youth program scholarships are available each year starting February 1, and are awarded by June 8, 2020; funds will be applied to 2020 summer youth programs.
