During check-in, you will receive the tickets for any of the events you purchased via the online Family Weekend Registration, as well as other materials for the weekend.  If you did not register online, please stop by and complete on-site registration.  Discounted football tickets will not be available for purchase during on-site registration.

7:00pm - Free Movie Friday, Now You See Me 2 (PG-13) - Graff Main Hall Auditorium

Sponsored by: Campus Activities Board (CAB)

This is a free event.

7:30pm - Theatre Performance, 26 Pebbles - Toland Theatre, Center for the Arts

Ticket Prices: $16 adults; $14 seniors/non UWL students; $5 UWL students. 

Tickets go on sale Monday, October 10 at 1:00 p.m. (Early season subscriber reservations begin Monday, October 3.)  Tickets are available for purchase in person at the box office in the Center for the Arts or by calling 608.785.8522 during regular box office hours.

On December 14, 2012, 20-year-old Adam Lanza fatally shot 20 children and 6 adult staff members at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newton, CT.  The tragedy captured the attention--and broke the hearts--of the entire nation.  These 26 innocent deaths, referred to by one Newton resident as 'pebbles thrown into a pond, create ripples and vibrations that were felt across the country.  Based on interviews with members of the Newton community, playwright Eric Ulloa, offers hope for healing.

9:00am- Family Fun 5K Run & Walk and 10K Run with the Chancellor 

Join the UWL Chancellor, Joe Gow and the campus community for a family friendly 5K run/walk or 10K run.  This is a free event.

Presented by UWL Rec Sports 

1:05pm - Football Game, UWL vs. UW-Whitewater - Veterans Stadium

The pre-sale of tickets is now closed.  Tickets purchased during the pre-sale will be available for pick-up at Family Weekend Check-in.  See above for Check-in location and times.  
 
**Do NOT purchase a general admission ticket for your student. Current UWL students with a valid UWL ID card receive general admission to the football game.**   
 
Tickets may now only be purchased at the stadium the day of at the game.  Ticket prices will be: $8 (adult), $5 (youth & senior citizen).
 

Football Tailgate Information:

Tailgate parking spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, begining at 10am on Saturday, October 15, 2016.  Pricing and related tailgate information is available here.

 

Food available before football game: 

A full-service food tent on the south end of the stadium across from Mitchell Hall is available to all fans. Food choices will include bratwurst, hot dogs, hamburgers and cheeseburgers, Pepsi products and much more! The L-Club concessions tent is a great gathering place for friends, former classmates and families.

Tickets: $5 (can be purchased in advance via this )  Please note that the price of the ticket will be listed as $5, but there is an additional $1 fee per ticket, for a total of $6). Link to purchase tickets.

2:00 pm  - Orchestra Concert, Annett Recital Hall, Center for the Arts

Join the UWL Orchestra at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, in the Annett Recital Hall, Center for the Arts. The concert's centerpiece is Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 17, K. 453, G minor, which will feature UWL Associate Professor Mary Tollefson on piano. The concert will also feature Gustav Holst's "St. Paul's Suite for String Orchestra" and will conclude with Franz Schubert's Symphony No. 8, "The Unfinished." Thomas Seddon will conduct the orchestra, with David Phipps serving as assistant conductor. The concert is free and all are invited. 

 

Parking Information

You may park in campus lots after 2pm on Friday, October 14 without a permit. This includes both Residential (lots marked with R) and Commuter (lots marked with C). Space in our Residential Lots is very limited, please only park there for a limited amount of time (ie: taking items up to your students room) and then move your vehicle to a Commuter Lot. Overnight parking is not permitted in either type of lot.
