Bachelor of Science in Health & Wellness Management Consortium Program

UWL participates in offering an online Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Wellness Management, in partnership with UW-Extension along with UW-River Falls, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Superior.  The program is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  This program is a degree completion program designed to equip you with the skills necessary to design, develop, implement, and maintain health and wellness programs in the workplace.

Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management & Technology Consortium Program

Bringing together the expertise of the University of Wisconsin-Extension and four University of Wisconsin campuses - UW-Green Bay, UW-Parkside, and UW-Stevens Point, with additional instruction offered by UW-La Crosse-the Online University of Wisconsin Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management and Technology (HIMT) gives you the skills and competencies you need to be competitive in today's workforce. 

The HIMT program is designed to equip you with the skills to work and lead in the health data management field. Health information professionals maintain, collect, and analyze the data that doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers rely on to deliver quality healthcare. They are experts in managing patient health information, administering computer information systems, and coding diagnoses and procedures for healthcare services provided to patients.

Master of Data Science Consortium Program

The UW Master of Science in Data Science is a collaboration of the University of Wisconsin Extended Campus and six University of Wisconsin institutions: UW-Eau Claire, UW-Green Bay, UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Superior, bringing you the best and brightest data science instructors from across the UW System.

Developed with an understanding that organizations in virtually every industry need qualified professionals with the skills to transform big data into big insights and better decisions, the UW Master of Science in Data Science program will teach you how to clean, organize, analyze, and interpret unstructured data, deriving knowledge and communicating your discoveries clearly to stakeholders using sophisticated visualization techniques and other means.

Master of Science in Healthcare Administration Consortium Program

Master of Science in Cybersecurity Consortium Program

The online UW Master of Science in Cybersecurity degree is a collaboration among eight UW campuses (UW-Green Bay, UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Parkside, UW-Platteville, UW-River Falls, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Superior), giving you access to the best talent and resources of the UW System. You will take courses taught by esteemed faculty from eight UW campuses, each contributing diverse expertise from fields including computer science, engineering, political science, communications, economics, and mathematics.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Consortium Program

The 30-credit Consortium MBA program, in collaboration with three other AACSB accredited MBA programs (UW-Eau Claire, UW-Oshkosh, and UW-Parkside), is designed for people like you - business people, engineers, health care providers and others interested in moving ahead in their careers. You will gain a broad, practical understanding of business, develop skills needed to manage change and recognize the opportunities it creates, and learn guidelines for confronting situations in an ethical and socially responsible manner. The University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium program offers opportunities for taking up to nine (9) credits of online MBA electives. Getting an MBA has helped our graduates obtain the promotions they sought, move into new professions or start and manage their own businesses.

Clinical Lab Science Contractual Program

Clinical laboratory science students who select to complete the required year-long clinical at the Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS) enroll at MSHS rather than at UW-La Crosse. The courses taken during the year-long clinical at MSHS meet UW-La Crosse CLI program requirements. The student must request an official transcript be sent to UW-La Crosse from MSHS. Upon successful completion of the clinical and all other graduation requirements, the students are awarded the Bachelor of Science degree from UW-La Crosse. The Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS) grants a Certificate of Completion in Clinical Laboratory Science.

Nuclear Medicine Technology Contractual Program

Nuclear Medicine Technology students who select to complete the required year-long clinical at the Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS) enroll at MSHS rather than at UW-La Crosse. The courses taken during the year-long clinical at MSHS meet UW-La Crosse NMT program requirements. The student must request an official transcript to be sent to UW-La Crosse from MSHS. Upon successful completion of the clinical and all other graduation requirements, the students are awarded the Bachelor of Science degree from UW-La Crosse. The Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS) grants a Certificate of Completion in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Master's of Science in Biology: Nurse Anesthesia Concentration Contractual Program

The Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare School of Anesthesia, the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse (UWL) Biology Department, and the Viterbo University School of Nursing have partnered to develop a program to meet the specific needs of the nurse anesthetist student during their doctoral education.

The School of Anesthesia (SOA) operates within the Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare campus in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Students are taught in a didactic and clinical setting over 36 months of consecutive study.
