Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management & Technology Consortium Program

Bringing together the expertise of the University of Wisconsin-Extension and four University of Wisconsin campuses - UW-Green Bay, UW-Parkside, and UW-Stevens Point, with additional instruction offered by UW-La Crosse-the Online University of Wisconsin Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management and Technology (HIMT) gives you the skills and competencies you need to be competitive in today's workforce.

The HIMT program is designed to equip you with the skills to work and lead in the health data management field. Health information professionals maintain, collect, and analyze the data that doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers rely on to deliver quality healthcare. They are experts in managing patient health information, administering computer information systems, and coding diagnoses and procedures for healthcare services provided to patients.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Consortium Program

The 30-credit Consortium MBA program, in collaboration with three other AACSB accredited MBA programs (UW-Eau Claire, UW-Oshkosh, and UW-Parkside), is designed for people like you - business people, engineers, health care providers and others interested in moving ahead in their careers. You will gain a broad, practical understanding of business, develop skills needed to manage change and recognize the opportunities it creates, and learn guidelines for confronting situations in an ethical and socially responsible manner. The University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium program offers opportunities for taking up to nine (9) credits of online MBA electives. Getting an MBA has helped our graduates obtain the promotions they sought, move into new professions or start and manage their own businesses.
