Please contact Pete Amann ( ) for assistance with program admission.

While we make every effort to meet with prospective applicants individually, time and work demands do not permit us to accommodate all requests.  In an effort to assist more prospective applicants the Health Professions Department will hold monthly information sessions over the summer.  These sessions will be geared towards individuals interested in applying to the UWL Occupational Therapy program.  Each session will begin with admissions specialist Pete Amann providing an overview of the admission process and application requirements.  The majority of the session will be reserved for responding to questions from prospective students.  We strongly encourage all individuals interested in meeting with a representative from the program to attend one of these sessions.

2018 Session dates will be posted later in the Spring 2018 semester.

Please email Pete Amann at  to reserve a seat for the session in which you are interested.  Please include in your message whether you will be bringing a guest and where you are completing your Bachelor's.  Your confirmation will include further information regarding your session.

Professional Program Advising

Upon admission to the program, each student is assigned a faculty advisor who meets with the student a minimum of once each semester.  Development of professional behaviors is a thread in the curriculum and is implemented through these advising sessions.  Additional detail about professional program advising is available in the student handbook.
