The 2013-2015 State of Wisconsin Compensation Plan provides the ability for UW-La Crosse to award Discretionary Merit Compensation (DMC) adjustments to classified permanent and project employees with the exception of crafts worker-related employees and those with a performance evaluation rated below satisfactory.

The following information outlines the procedure and timeline for the award of discretionary merit compensation adjustments to classified permanent and project employees. You will also find instructions for the proper completion of the Justification for Discretionary Merit Compensation Award Form.

September 2, 2014 HR campus communication to classified employees & supervisors about DMC process and timeline
September 29, 2014  Due date for DMC Justification forms submitted by supervisors to deans/directors and self-nominations to HR
October 6, 2014  Due date for DMC Justification recommendations to division heads
October 20, 2014  Due date for DMC Justification recommendations from divisions to HR
October 27, 2014 HR to submit all UWL DMC Justification recommendations to OSER
