<h3>When employees email hrinfo@uwlax.edu they can now expect an automatic response acknowledging receipt of their request and logging their "HR Case" for processing. </h3>
<p>On November 1, 2022, Human Resources implemented a new ticketing system through UW Shared Services in Madison to assist in processing UWL Employee's questions, and requests, and to manage data entry business processes.&nbsp; This new tool will also allow employees to track their requests in their own online portal.</p><p>Employees can now expect an automatic email response when addressing a question, concern, or process to <a href="mailto:hrinfo@uwlax.edu" data-mce-href="mailto:hrinfo@uwlax.edu">hrinfo@uwlax.edu</a>. This automatic email will detail that your request has been recorded and provide a description and summary of the submission.&nbsp; The unique case number assigned will allow you to track this request in the online self-service portal located at: <a href="https://uwsaitsm-amc.ivanticloud.com/" data-mce-href="https://uwsaitsm-amc.ivanticloud.com/">https://uwsaitsm-amc.ivanticloud.com/</a>.</p><p>In addition, responses from UWL HR will now come from <a href="mailto:servicedesk@support.wisconsin.edu">servicedesk@support.wisconsin.edu</a>.</p><p>One of the advantages of this new system is that UWL Human Resources will now be able to directly escalate and assign requests to our colleagues in Madison and retain the ability to track and manage the request to ensure a timely response.&nbsp; Employees will also be able to track, add, or modify the request on their own through the above-mentioned case portal.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Over the next several months, other campus service-oriented departments will be transitioning to this new platform as well.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On April 4, UW System employees that are required to complete an Outside Activity Report (OAR) will receive an email with instructions to complete the form by April 30, 2022.</p><p>Pursuant to <a href="https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/code/admin_code/uws/8/Title" data-mce-href="https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/code/admin_code/uws/8/Title">Chapter UWS 8</a> of the Wisconsin Administrative Code, all UW System faculty, academic staff, and limited appointees with half-time appointments or more are required to annually report outside activities. They must complete the form to report if they receive compensation, have associations related to their areas of professional responsibility or have no outside activities to report</p><p>After the employee completes the OAR form, you as the Reports To/Approver, will be notified by email to review and approve the form. This email serves as notice of the tasks and due dates for each step of the process. &nbsp;</p><ol start="1" type="1"><li class="x_MsoListParagraph">Human Resources will be providing campus stakeholders with their reappointment Excel documents via the new reporting tool, Tableau the week of 03/07/2022. You may download your report as an Excel file, (instructions will be provided). Here are the tasks and due dates for each step of the process:&nbsp;</p><ol><li dir="auto">Human Resources will send Excel file(s) of all applicable employee data to each Business Manager/Supervisor by 10/1/2021.
