"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"  -Tim Notke

Are you getting everything you need to succeed?

Are you doing everything you can to succeed?

Get a leg up on the competition by learning how to train for your specific sport properly. Not all sports benefit from the same type of weight training. Exercises or drills can be useful for one sport but not another. Also, not all athletes are built the same and require modifications to help them reach their potential while minimizing the risk of injury.

You can't get customized sport-specific training by merely watching and mimicking exercises seen in youtube videos or by attending summer weight programs.

If you're serious about improving your athletic performance, start by building a strong foundation. Work with an expert who is a certified strength and conditioning coach and has experience training athletes to compete at the highest levels. Doing it "right" will not only minimize the risk of injury but will motivate and inspire you to reach your potential.

UWL Rec Sports is now offering two different training camps to provide community athletes with safe and effective sports-specific workouts. Additional benefits include:

•Working out in the NEW Fitness Center with top of the line equipment
•Instruction led by highly qualified and experienced strength & conditioning coach
•Additional qualified coaches who hold nationally accredited personal training certification
•Sport specific programming and drills to enhance the current skill level
•Individual programs built for each athlete
•Coach to athlete ratio that is no more than 1:4
•Take-home custom programs with a template to continue improvement
